Why would someone voluntarily ruin their own life and be committed to a psych ward or be sent to prison? Doesn't make much sense. I don't blame anybody who abuses animals who chooses not to seek help for that very reason.
Wasn't directing it to you personally I was repeating what you said in your description. You wouldn't ask that question with that much detail if you didn't know a person who does this. If you just asked the question to ask, I find that's odd.
