that's not normal. Animals are just as equal to humans. Humans should not hurt other inhabitants of earth. I also agree that this is a sign of a serial killer. You say you don't belong in prison or in psychiatric center but I believe you should be. You need to get help and leave animals alone. now.
Why would someone voluntarily ruin their own life and be committed to a psych ward or be sent to prison? Doesn't make much sense. I don't blame anybody who abuses animals who chooses not to seek help for that very reason.
