They often start out torturing/killing animals, and move on to humans later. I would know; my mom has a ton of books about serial killers, and I've read some of them. Jeffrey Dahmer put a dog's head on a stake in the woods because he thought it would be a funny prank. Pretty sick right? Oh and, he tortured and killed humans later and sometimes ate their flesh.
So what you're saying is that 100% of people who torture animals turn into serial killers? No, I would think most people who torture animals just stick with animals. Look up "horse-ripping" on the internet. And why in the world do people assume I'm doing this? I'm talking about people I've known in my life. No where did I say I did those things.
Of course she wasn't saying that. That's not the point. The point is that people who kill animals are more likely to become people who kill people. "More likely" doesn't mean 100% likely. It just means "more".
Your a sick fucker. It's apparent it's you!!!! and even if it was someone you know doing it, you're still a sick fucker for not calling the cops on them!!!!!!! I hope you fucking die.
I don't know anybody who currently does it. I know a guy who choked a dog to death with his bear hands. But he said it was for self-defense. I have no reason not to believe him. I know another guy that saw a cat that was suffering, so he grabbed a big rock and smashed it. It didn't die and probably ended up suffering some more. But both of these guys weren't sick, since they had good intentions and I don't consider that to be intended torture since it was meant to be execution.
Ok might be related but I personally would rather kill humans than animals! Also I think a little amount of serial killers tortured animals... the most intelligent ones like Jack the Ripper or so did not torture animals as it's not that related I guess!
You really need to read more books about true crime. How do you know Jack the Ripper didn't? It was so long ago, who can say?
I can name about two more off the top of my head who tortured animals to begin with, Richard Chase, Edmund Kemper and Dahmer as mentioned. There is a decent amount of killers who have done this, began with animals and worked their way up. This person seems to be very dangerous and mentally ill, regardless of whether they do become a serial killer, they need help.
That doesn't say the percentage of animal torturers who turn into serial killers. It could be less than 1%. I do agree that such a person does need help. But why should they seek help if all it's going to give them is a stay in a mental hospital or jail/prison that's going to do nothing but permanently affect their life in a negative way? These people are discouraged from getting help. And you can't say it'll benefit them more overall, because that is very obviously not true, and any logical person would agree that's not true.
Ok I know when I have to agree to someone when I'm not right anymore^^ I agree in every point and yes the should definetely seek help! But I guess Jack The Ripper did not torture animals I do not know it but I'm pretty sure^^
No you did not sound mean to me. Yes they are evil but I do not find them scary (watched too many horror films^^). I rather think they are somehow fascinating (to me) I do not know why nor I want to know^^
Oh thank goodness :) ^.^ And although I've read books on them and stuff, I still think they would be very scary in real life, if I were ever unfortunate to meet one while they were on the "hunt" so to speak. Although I did want to be a criminal psychologist cause I know what you mean about finding them fascinating, I want to know why, how, when, where and what made them that way, if anything did.
Sorry for writing a super long reply as well though! D:
Is it normal to torture animals?

I don't know how torturing animals is a sign of a serial killer... Killing humans has nothing to do with hurting non-human animals

Torturing horses, usually by their genitals. Sometimes mutilating them or ripping their genitals off or something from the way I understand it.

^^Yeah that is what I meant!
It's just entertainment. You don't have to think it any deeper than that. It's all fake and no one's really getting hurt when those scenes are made.
