I am God Father to some of her children and she constantly tells me I'm her oldest friend/best friend. She lives in another state and I really have distanced myself from her over the past 5 years- even ignoring phone calls BUT the guilt that she may be dying and Ive turned my back is too much for me to handle. Why are you friends with someone who you distrust this much? If you don't have trust in a friendship, you shouldn't really be friends.
