I think it would be normal in ur situation. But I don't think it's normal for a family to act this way. I'm sure they love u, but a lot of ppl have trouble expressing this. Also it could just be that they r so involved in their own stuff to pay much attention. In which case I'm sorry. It doesn't sound like they r mean to u directly or anything though. Maybe u could talk to them. Or maybe organize some stuff to do as a family even if it's just eating dinner together.
