Actually when I was a kid people use to call me tomgirl. I express my emotions a lot actually, I'm just more direct with them is all. I enjoy talking to people and understanding how they think. I'm a self-called sociologist. My friends and I actually enjoy telling each other everything. We each express our emotions. In the traditional sense, I am not like a male because I express my emotions. I don't let them control my logic, by I do open up to others very easily, as long as they are willing to hear me out. Of course I have my male qualities. One of my female friends actually on occasions says "you're such a guy," in a friendly way of course.
I think being a girl would actually be very interesting. Like I said, I like exploring the mentality of others. Being a girl would give me the opportunity to truly understand the mentality of an "average" female. I have talked to girls before, but being the person that I am, not many have openly expressed themselves to me. I imagine being a girl as having it's ups and downs. I actually want to feel some of the pain of pms, I want to see if it's difficult to adapt to that. Also, as ItDuz stated, I want to experience some of the advantages that come with being a girl. Furthermore, I want to see the reaction that people would give me when I act like a myself but as a girl. I'd say I'm a nice person, but I want to personally experience how the genders view a nice girl. Of course, I'm straight but the admiration would be interesting to experience. This last factor may be off putting but, and I'm sorry if the mental image is disturbing, masturbation as a female does have my curiosity peaked. The female orgasm is 10x better than the male, I want to see how much better.
If in the course of my explanation I have creeped you out or seemed odd, I'm sorry. I just want to see the world from a new perspective.
Oh no worries... it is really fascinating on how the two genders mind and body work differently. I personally find psychology rather interesting.
Also being a nice girl especially around men you certainly get a lot of men interested in you... Which I know it doesn't happen as much vice-versa. You always have to be the bad boy, especially in the younger years. Which I personally don't get myself.
Oh also that really is how our family is we have had to express our feelings more towards each other considering of what we've all had to go through and still have to. The sad part I really didn't start talking to my older brother about feelings and love till not too long ago and I'm in my 20's. I guess I always felt kind of odd if I would say something to him about it since he is my brother, a male. ha.
I dont know, I say being a guy I would definitely be curious about what its like to be a girl. Me and a friend of mine, very beautiful girl, did an experiment, it was mostly my idea to get an idea of being a women and dating. We set up a fake dating account using her pics, I basically did it, she just gave me the pics. And some of the responses we got were just ridiculous. Some very crazy perverted people out there. In that respect I wouldnt enjoy being a girl, a guy doesnt really have to worry about that. But other then some emotions, cramps, and child birth (which isnt even a given) I would say women probably have it easier then men.
So what is your opinion on why women have it easier exactly? And no I'm not saying you are wrong on your opinion, I just believe there is a balance between the two genders, no gender has it easier than the other.
Oh I think its close, I dont think women have it WAY easier I just think women, and married women especially, have it easier. Men have more pressure in terms of performing in all the ways "performing" can be described. Career, Father, Husband, Lover, even approaching a women is an intimidating undertaking, which men have to be the pursuer on.
Yeah... I do agree on that part. That is how society has always had it. Although I myself have approached men instead so they wouldn't feel as pressured. In my belief men don't always have to be the pursuer but at the same time some men find that as too straight forward for a women.
But if the guy is going to so shy in the corner the woman has to get to him some how. ha
I'm very interested in the male attention actually, but I would like being chased after for being nice. Like I said, I'm a straight male but the admiration would be interesting to observe. I don't really know much about women and I think being one would just be interesting.
Also, I'm glad that you and your brother are becoming closer. It's always great to have that person you can count on to listen when you need it.
But thanks! It seems like almost for everybody that is already kind of close to their family, when ever they go to college all the sudden they are closer from being away... then you want to be home to see your family. Thats how it was for me for sure... but of course it certainly helps with living on your own too.
That's interesting. I haven't left for college yet, but I'd say that I'm already pretty close to my family. I'm curious to see how much I'd miss home, although, I do want to get away from it.
Yeah before I left for college my family drove me insane some... but like so I missed them quite a bit the first quarter, then I was fine the next quarter and so on.
Is it normal to think women have happier/easier/better lives than men?

Cool. I guess I won't have much trouble adjusting to the real world after a couple of days.
