Is it normal to think why is sex so important to teen girls?

Why is sex so important to teen boys? Why can't they wait till they find the right girl?

Because humans like sex, and not everyone shares your views.

Maybe some teenage girls think they have found the one or aren't interested in finding one.

Just because some people 'save' themselves it doesn't make them better or mean that it is the right choice for everyone else.

I'm in my teens and I've often wondered "why"?

True some people are wrongly pressured into it or forced and they don't get to blossom into the concept on their own.

Why can't people take time to find someone they love? Why can't people have it with some form of meaning behind it? I don't understand people who can randomly meet someone and then have sex with them. They barely know them or their medical history and then the next morning they leave like what they did was nonexistent.

Sex isn't everything. True, I'm a virgin, but at least I can see that there are other important things in the world. If I'm going to be with someone, then I want it to be as long as possible. I'm not here for a meaningless fling. If I'm going love you, than I'm going to try to give you my all and I'd expect you to do the same. Not just for "me". Not just for "us", but for the relationship as a whole.

What ever, happened to romantics? What ever, happened to loves that were so deep, they could've been etched in stone? I refuse to follow this modern take on "love", but I prefer to follow the old-fashioned kind that actually meant something.

Its just the way society is, I guess in a way it's natural, but like Energy said most are pressured into it, in my opinion.

I don't mean to sound sexist or anything, infact, I'm a guy myself. What I notice around me though is guys pressuring them into it. Guys are more horny, right? Well, there's lots of nice guys out there but also lots or douche bags.

So if anything, don't blame it on just girls. It's society as a WHOLE.

its very diffecault beeing a teen girl, you get far too much attention from men then you get teen boys always going on about sex and breasts. alot like me get pressured in to having sex and once you started you get a reputation and then teen boys with there hormonies know who to go for a ride, also society doesnt help as its in everones faces all the time.

people shouldn't have sex until about 18 because honestly you have no reason at 16 your just asking to screw your life up royally.

Because sex is so much fun and they can't wait to try. The entire culture is sex-based. I hope my daughters are smarter than the hype.

i think its normal becoz if u in a relatiomship and u hav sex it brings u alot more closer than u think but not always becoz not all guys are the same so its normal but i wuld advice to wait bcoz u might regret it in the future

Adult women know to keep the man waiting for sex until he proves himself worthy of her - so he treats her right and respects her. Young girls have yet to learn that very important lesson and so 'put the cart before the horse'.

well my best friend whos a girl (im a guy) had a boyfriend her freshman year in highschool. he was a typical stocky and hick-like--such as most of my town is. they had a very sexual relationship according to her. finally he dumped her because he didnt like the sex as much. just goes to show that it is the guy that starts it. but the girl should still be able to end it with a simple stop.
