I think it's still getting a lot of hype because it's not completely legal yet. People are trying to get the word out and get it legalized and regulated. Anything that gets all this attention is bound to get annoying so I understand how you feel about that. You really should try it before you assume your disposition though. I had a friend that was the same way. He pretty much hated it and then he tried it for the first time and now supports it's use both medically and recreational.
I know I didn't say anything about not legalizing it. I'm all for it legalized but it's just annoying like you said how everyone gets hyped up over weed. Yes I know I shouldn't assume something I haven't tried bad or good, yet I don't think I'm going to grow fond of it. Taking experiences won't always make people like it because we are human beings we think differently from one another.
You're right. I'm not saying you WILL like it after you try it. I'm just saying you don't really know 100% that you will or won't like it UNTIL you have actually tried it. But yeah hopefully the hype for weed goes away in a few years.
