I do agree with you on that last part. We only know what is right or wrong to ourselves, based on our own experiences, but that tells us little about the prevailing truth. Good and bad are both necessary forces, and if something that exists and functions that is necessary essentially it is good.
I have never heard beliefs like yours before. They are really quite astounding, though i'm not sure what to make of them. What are these creatures you call deities that exist in physical space? Do you mean to tell me that they function through gravity? Or are you simply taking about scientific theories that have lead you to answers about our existence. Either way, i am intrigued.
One more thing... These internal manifestations you speak of are essentially thoughts, fantasies and dreams, right? Well, these are complex things with no physical form, are they not? And, while they may only be internal things, I must disagree with you're theory that they cannot exert an external influence. They are able to catalyze a physical action, such as thinking you are hungry and then eating. Like you said, they influence behavior, t look at how much behavior can influence. We all learn from one another's behavior. Therefore, internal forces are an extremely influential underlying force... And i think the nature and influence of thoughts are the closest observable phenomenon to what God actually is.
I'm glad that we finally agree on something. I hope that you can begin to appreciate that these theological divisions result only in behaviour that is detrimental to peaceful and harmonious coexistence. To impose one's beliefs on others, seeks only to divide and serves no beneficial purpose. The truth can only be determined through observation, experimentation and deductive reasoning. This must be tested against at least several sources (preferentially unbiased) to determine if it [the truth] is factual and exists in reality.
Good and bad are not "forces". As stated previously, gravity is the only true force in this, and in all other Universes. Good and bad are informed decisions. If one makes a responsible decision, then it's a good decision. Conversely, if one makes an irresponsible decision, then they have made a bad decision. Is it possible to act irresponsibly and convince oneself (or others) that it's a good decision? Absolutely, yes. If someone is rewarded for irresponsible behaviour, then the person receiving the reward will think that they had made a good decision. This is why we need to keep away from this concept of good and bad. The last part,"and if something that exists and functions that is necessary it is good." is absolutely false. There are many examples, but here's one...I think that everyone agrees that the Sun exists. I also think that everyone agrees that the Sun is necessary and serves a function and is essential to most life on Earth. Is the Sun good or bad? Answer, some is usually good for most life forms, but can also be bad for others. We need some Sun for our health and well being, which is good, but too much and you will get burned and possibly develop skin cancer, which is bad. If you took a spaceship into the Sun, you would vaporize, which would be very bad. Therefor, the Sun is neither good nor bad. Please think these things through BEFORE you make such ridiculous statements to the world.
I did not call these creatures deities. I said that some people have perceived them as deities and other creatures of folklore. This does not mean that they actually are what some people perceive them to be. They are a Very Highly Advanced Technological Civilisation, relative to our own. No, they do not function through gravity any more than we do. Please try to learn and to understand gravity. Only then, will you realize how confusing and quite possibly misleading your statement was. I have come to understand the actual nature of the Universe, from many sources. This is not purely scientific, but also is philosophic as these things are inter-related.
No, these internal manifestations can be other things as well. They can all be described as 'abstract thought'. Please try to learn about abstract thought. All abstract thought does have a physical form, as it can be explained as a configuration of electrons in a persons brain. Some of these, represent things that are real, but others represent things that are not real.
Again you failed to think things through. These electrons, in your brain, can not jump out and exert any external influence on yourself, others or anything else. They can only influence your behaviour.
There is no such thing as an "internal force" or an "underlying force". If these so-called "forces" do not exist anywhere but in your brain, then
this conception of a deity exists nowhere else, but in your brain. If you would like to dispute this, then please show the inter-relationship between these imaginary forces of yours with gravity and massenergy.
Positive thought is one internal manifestation which creates an outward result. Positive thought highly correlates with positive outcomes in some circumstances, just as negative thought creates negative outcomes. It cannot be proven scientifically, but many instances of this occurrence have been observed.
I am not like you because I believe in things that cannot be measured. I would rarely dismiss the possibility of something simply because it lacks hard evidence. Just because a murderer avoids prosecution because of lack of evidence does not mean he is not a murderer.
You seem to know your science very well and i admire that. If I were a physicist I could probably uphold my end of the argument better, but i am not. I do, however, find you a bit narrow minded and blinded by your own intelligence.
PM me if you want to talk more. I hate typing in these narrow spaces.
Please do not refer to them as such, they take offense to it. An "alien" (in this context) can refer to any extra-terrestrial life form. Please also do not refer to them as "extra-terrestrials", as this can refer to any technologically advanced alien life forms (of which there are many). You may refer to them by the abbreviation VHATC-L2, as I have stated previously to others.
Do you not think that the supposed deity that you might still believe in is real, would be offended if others called them an "alien"?
You are incorrect. You have stated a conclusion, and then avered that this cannot be tested. In fact, many Social Scientists have conducted studies on success rates between optimists and pessimists.
I dismiss your statement on the grounds that 1) You do not have any credentials in Social Sciences, and 2) You did not research this topic thoroughly BEFORE you issued such a ridiculous statement.
Again, you have made a conclusion which is false. I also believe that there are things in this Universe that cannot be measured. One of these, is the Universe itself. We know from observation that the Universe is currently expanding and accelerating. We also know that there is no definite physical boundary to the Universe. There are also limitations in our current understanding (although I know a way around this) due to limitations imposed by General and Special Relativity. Also, there are limitations due to Event Horizons. For these and other reasons (which I care not to elaborate on at this time), a precise measurement of the Universe cannot be made in any instance of time. Since everything that we experience is part of the Universe, this means that we can not precisely measure anything in our everyday experiences. We can only make approximate measurements relative to other things.
You should have studied well known principles of gravity, like I asked you to.
Please also study General and Special Theories of Relativity (Albert Einstein).
Please also read Prof. Stephen Hawking's, A Brief History of Time. (Not entirely accurate)
Please STOP pretending that you know something that other people don't already know BEFORE you shoot your mouth off AGAIN.
You are wasting my time, and everyone else's.
I apologise to all readers for using the -ist words in my former comment. I should have used different terminology. This is why these types of ill informed, nonsensical arguments that cause rage and division, must stop.
Once again, I apologise.
Is it normal to think we are all just one soul?

And by the way, if you were listening, I DO NOT "TALK" TO THEM. I can communicate with them through the Quark Realm.
