I don't think unworthy people should ever be killed because they don't contribute enough. There isn't anything wrong with being happy and not working; not everybody is ambitious. But in society, I think that a man is worth what he is able to contribute to society. However, I do believe the lives of ambitious people are worth more than the lives of idle people.
Scenario: I am the captain of a boat and only one more person can fit into it. Two people are drowning: one is a certified doctor and the other is a cashier. Who would you save?
I'd say the life of a doctor is worth more so I would save the doctor. However, this situation gets to be tricky when you compare engineers and doctors and lawyers and even teachers. But society does need some people more than others.
Is it normal to think this way about them?
