It sounds like you're judging and have a biased oppions about without really understanding the addiction aspect of it and how hard it may be for a person to actually quit once they've started. Still no excuse to start to begin with and I do agree with you regarding the consequences one can experience from taking some of the drugs you mentioned, however your points do not apply to marijuana. I smoke weed and am a college graduate with a full time job and no major health or mental problems. Marijuana is harmless.
The real issue is that many people have decided no one should interfere with their fun, and that consequences are all invented by the man to keep them down.

I do understand it. I had a family member who used to be addicted to drugs before but this person stopped taking drugs years ago and is fine today.
