Is it normal to think this?

I will start off by saying I believe that if you think something enough, it will happen. For example if I keep thinking I will get hit by lightning, then I will. The reason I cannot do things such as use my arms to fly in this universe is because everyone else thinks I can't, so the majority rules what I can and cannot do, although if I was the only one here, I would be able to do whatever I wanted.

Now I will get to my question. I have been coming to this site to get out my craziest thoughts and get input on how other people will analyze them. However sometimes I feel like asking a question about something that is a bad idea will only make it more likely to manifest. This has made me wonder if its good to keep my bad ideas in my head but there is also the problem that not releasing them makes them grow.

What do you think on this subject?

So all I gotta do is just keep thinking Gerard Way will leave his wife and come stay with me? Okay, here it goes. This had better work, too.

I think that giving energy to thoughts and actions can cause a reaction to some degree, but as for not being able to fly because of skeptics, that just has to do with the plain fact that arms are not made for flying. You could have the world wishing and praying but the sky will still be blue because there is a reason behind it. But great idea, getting all your weird thoughts out here.

"not being able to fly because of skeptics," i think what you mean to say is that we can't fly because of the LAWS OF PHYSICS!!!!!!! We don't have wings, our bones are not hollow (like birds), we weigh to much, the forces of gravity pull us to the ground!!! There is no way we will be able to fly without the help of technology, ever!

well based of his logic (not saying i completely agree with it) but if everyone believes physics is law wouldnt that make it true? the only part i believe to be true that he said was people can create something just by thinking it, however i belive there is a limit to this like placebos or telepathy (i think telekinesis is complete nonsense though) and even if someone were to try i dont think everyone is capable or know how. its like this, some people might be capable but even if they are its like how if people suddenly switch genders or got more body parts (with nerves included) that we would have to practice (like pyshical therapy). well anyways, there my two cents.

I believe stating certain thoughts causes those thoughts to become more 'real'. Whereas keeping too much negative thoughts inside, can cause the negative thoughts to take a toll on your mind. Which causes them to get heavier and heavier to bear.
So I do think that there needs to a balanced flow of positive and negative output. More positive than negative but, negative must come out to.
But yes, I believe anything is possible with the power of belief.

ive got a question on youre theroy though, what about how many people belive something is true even though it isnt? like peace, or ufos, bigfoot, conspiracies, or sterotypes (and im not saying they dont exist)? there is alot of people in this world even a small percent like 1% is almost a million people and any claims of psychic and what not are a low percent along with people believing that they exist, so majority rules right? so then there would have to be atleast 50.0000000000001% of people believing its real right? so how many percent of people belive there is a such thing as psychics?

    • I do not know the percentage ratio. However I think some psychics are real. I think there are some fakes but I know telepathy is real because I've done it. I don't have control over it but it happens randomly.

I don't think so deary. (: Keep dreaming and believing, but it won't happen. You could ask the whole world to believe something as well as just you, and without making it happen, it's not going to happen by thinking or dreaming it.

Who knows why don't you try believing you are rich and let me know how that plays out.

I think it works the same way a placebo does, like tricking yourself into doing the work you need to do, the same way you've tricked yourself into feeling better with a sugar pill. To me, that's the only extent thinking something into existence will work.
I don't think asking something that's bad will make it manifest, probably the opposite. If your writing something, and you know it's wrong, it'll sort of be engrained in your mind, your connecting the thought (which is bad) with the action (writing it out) and that's going to prevent you from actually carrying through with your bad idea. Whenever you think of that bad idea or thought, you'll be reminded of how stupid you thought it was when you were writing it out.

See, that was a load of crap, but i said it anyway, well wrote it technically. And that just makes me less likely to feel the need to say something that potentially sound stupid in front of people i know.

-claps- there is a perfect example, however some tulpas are manifested from just one persons perspective. none the less, its surely the best example (and no im not being sarcastic and this isnt sarcasm either...... or that...... and that.... god damnit im really not bein sarcastic but the more i say im not makes it seem that i am. ill just shut up now..... -sigh-)
