Really? So expressing you're gay for the sake of looking 'hip' isn't something people do?
You're so self absorbed and you, foolishly, believe you've already experienced the best and worst of everyone but let me tell you your part of the world is just a teeny tiny part compared to Earth and you're yet to experience every type of person.
Personally, LGBTQ parades are absolutely stupid. Instead of celebrating your individuality try helping people who really need it. There's so many people who are in worse conditions than you so get off your high horse and try and do something positive for once.
Of course there are people who try to be hip by expressing their sexuality but thats not the majority. So what are your thoughts on saint patty's day parades? oh and please share what you do to help others in need? i think you are mistaken because i know i am no better than anyone on here, so there is no need for me to get off any high horse.
How do I help? I volunteer my times at shelters and charity shops. Sure, I could be going abroad to help in other countries but I don't have the time or money. Secondly, stop using Saint Patrick's Day as your only counter argument and, on that note, try telling someone who's Irish not to celebrate it. It's like telling an American not to celebrate Independence Day.
ill use Christmas eve, christmas day, new years eve and new years day, thanksgiving, womens march, super bowls wins and the fourth of july, as a counter argument then, people celebrate all the damn time even when they know there are people who need help, who are suffering and dying but that doesnt mean we are bad people, we can celebrate the good times and fight against the injustice/cruelty as well. also You just proved my point, by you saying "try telling someone who's Irish not to celebrate it. It's like telling an American not to celebrate Independence Day." so why is stupid for lgbtq to celebrate their "gay liberation" the first pride parade was after the first year anniversary of the stonewall riots, those riots came about because of homophobic police issuing unnecessary raids on the places where lgbtq people would meet and made unlawful arrests. Lgbtq people were people who needed help and they still do today. Im glad you volunteer and do some good in your community but my problem with you is, how do you know that the people who are celebrating in the lgbtq pride parades aren't doing anything good for their own communities? you don't. right now i'm a proud gay man, in school studying human services, which will prepare me to help my community and give back. here's a tip on helping people, don't compare struggles and deem one worthy and the another not, because that's not right or fair. Don't let your bias opinions dictate on how you help people. A problem may seem little to you but to someone else its huge. stop making assumptions on people you do not know. Thats just my personal opinion.
Is it normal to think these are the most annoying people?

I didn't read all this (apologies) but don't worry. I've realised the hypocrisy of my posts and have changed my opinionated on a few matters.
