Wouldn't vengance be the most normal reason to wish death on someone? I just have to say that if you had a daughter and someone violently raped her and you didn't go find and kill the man who commited that act, then your just a pussy.

Depends on a great many things, there is no one, singular answer to cover every case of someone killing someone else.
