My own family aren't close so it doesn't get thrown around a lot, but when I hear it on TV it makes my skin crawl. I don't know, I just find it totally creepy when people use it towards teenagers or adults ie "you'll always be daddy's little girl".
Totally normal. If you and your father are not affectionate, this phrase probably seems to cross some sort of boundary for you, especially once the "little girl" in question is fully grown. It might imply incest to you, even. Whatever your reasons, don't worry, you're normal.
I don't think it's creepy but I can understand where you're coming from. I used to love the phrase but my dad isn't around anymore and I don't really love him that much now. The phrase brings back memories I'd rather left buried so I don't like the phrase at all.
Everyone has reasons for not liking something, so it's normal in that aspect.
It'd be weird if a guy brought his little girl into the change room and you were naked and rubbing one out, or squatting and taking a shit in the middle of the floor, about a foot away from the drain so the poo juices begin running across the floor over to it. At that point one of the daughters runs across and slips on the poo juice and hits the wall, at which point the father runs to help, but you pounce on the situation and throw your shit at him, splattering it on his face... Then while he's blinded to kick his kid in the back and smash a chair over his chest... That wouldn't be normal, don't even think of doing that.
