  • Honestly, I totally agree with you. I go to an all white school were people literally boast about my hair and how many colors go nicely with my skin tone etc. But then other times they would compliment my black ethnicity and it would actually come across as a very racist and rude thing to say and they don't realize until I point it out.

    It's like an unconcious feeling of envy especially from the white women who go tanning as soon as they see spring hit. Racism is very subtle but still very there. It's not just jealousy it's also fear and intimidation and so many other factors...

    And yes whether you see it or not White people do advertise themselves as a more superior/dominant race, it's everyyyywherree. The majority of magazines you see in the stores all have white women on it, and that's just ONE example...
