Damn, OP, I'm 68 and I can say most of that stuff, too. Really, other than fathering a couple of kids, I haven't left much of a mark on the world. Nobody beyond my family will probably remember me and most of my close friends have already died from old age or some disease.
But you know what? It's been a hell of a trip and a lot of really good times along the way. Some not so good, but all in all it's been a grand great game.
Why are you so ready to leave the game, before you've even learned how to play??
