I recently lost 30 lbs and intend on losing more weight. Here are some of the things i did/do. Before meals have a big glass of water and eat slowly, this will help you to feel "full" without overeating. Control your portions, use smaller plates if you generally fill and clear your plate with every meal. Eat smaller meals or snacks throughout the day as opposed to large meals less often. This will keep your metabolism working comstantly and burning calories. If you starve yourself your body will horde whatever fat it can.
Cut calories from beverages. I dont drink any soda, fruit juice, gatorade, or sweet tea anymore. Only unsweetened iced tea, club soda and water. I have replaced beer and wine with vodka + club soda and lime. Do yor own cooking. You can easily find healthy recipes online. Retaraunt and processed foods are generally not as healthy as what you can make at home. Eat lots of lean protein and fiber while avoiding simple (white) carbohydrates and lots of fat.
Exercise! Even if its just walking. I could barely run more than maybe 20 yds before being winded at first (15 years of smoking and little exercise) but now after 3 months of steadily increasing my run to walk ratio I can jog over a mile without resting. Lift weights! Not only does it burn a lot of calories, you will build muscle that will allow you to burn calories when you're doing nothing. I try not to ever eat more calories than I burn in a day. If i want to eat a burger or pizza i will run/walk or lift. If i want to be lazy, i eat extra light. Hope some of this helps you and good luck.
Is it normal to think that I might have an eating disorder?

Thank you so much for this advice, I'll try it out starting today.
This will probably help me with my under eating and binge eating problems too.
