Are you Catholic? That could explain away any shame. Just kidding. No, it's just that you were using drugs and alcohol as your confidence boost/ "liquid courage" before. Now you don't do that (hopefully) so you have to build up your own confidence. Wear something you know you look really good in, talk to girls you think are in your league (you may laugh, but seriously...you'll feel less insecure if you don't go for the Cindy Crawford in the room. That doesn't mean you have to talk to Ugly Betty for God's sake!) Your focus, (sorry, but you know this) shouldn't be just getting a girl in bed. How about getting some dates so you have one cute, nice, fun girl who wants to have sex with you all the time. ( A sure thing is not overrated).
