Is it normal: to think that everyone here is fake?

I have to admit, IIN is starting to resemble a preschool more so than a place of advice and counsel.

Totally real and would like to help as many people as I can with the knowledge I have. I am 26, lived among many cultures and traveled a lot, am an older sister, an ex girlfriend, a student, a worker who actually loves their job, a blonde, a Washingtonian and above all a human being :)

I came long ago as a troll but now I try and be helpful and serious. Dammit conscious!

So, if you happen to think so, why are you still here? :)

This reminds me of something I was told a favorite user of mine said before she left (ShineyGlitterock).

Well, I have to state the irony here. In real life I am fake, but on here I am/was real, that most people on here knew the real me more than people in my actual life.

I think that people on here aren't exactly 'fake' as much as people normally are. We all have flaws, and we don't want to share those flaws in reality or on the internet.

Well, that's the internet for ya'. You never know who's real and who's not.

Well, the people who are really mingling into this community might present themselves in another way than they really are. But I think most people here are aged 16-21

Nah, just about 85% are.

Take a look at yourself, what do you contribute? If you are here to be helpful, then be helpful and don't put too much thought into what others are doing. Why are you here?

I'm usually real but sometimes I'll make a troll comment. I do my best to offer advice but sometimes I don't believe people are looking for it. So sometimes I comment for my own amusement. I'd hate to be judged solely on one post.

I think maybe some are fake! But then if you're not, the majority are probably genuine.

Most of the people on this site are here to find out if they're normal... if their sanity is in question, we've gotta expect this kind of thing.

I haven't been here for long to be honest, but I really like IIN..I don't think it's fake at all. On the contrary, I think it's quite interesting and most of the people here are really very helpful..I only wish I had discovered it earlier :)
