  • The Chinese are definitely running out of land and are buying into large projects in Laos to ensure food supply.

All other nations with positive population growth should follow China's lead.

      • Not sure what I meant. What about, all countries with unsustainable population growth should follow China's lead and introduce measures to control their populations to sustainable levels.

        • I thought you meant that all countries with unsustainable population growth should buy Laos.

          • China has illegally invaded Philippines, Tibet and recently Japan while they also buy huge lands throughtout the world. Chinese shortage of clean water, food, natural resources and even lands to live may caused disasters. The rest of the world get together to keep Chinese in their own land. We are also afraid of SARS, polutions by the Chinese.

          • Chinese development in lamp in the last 2 years is unbelievable. They've just started a $7B railway all the way from Quming to Vientiane and have exclusive rights to 5km corridor either side of the railway line in return for loan. I see no problem with this however Laos will lose identity and become a Chinese state within 20 years. Goodbye forests, hello rubber.
