Is it normal to think that cats are secretly the rulers of the world?

I have become increasingly suspicious of the little feline creatures we call cats. I dont know for certain but im pretty sure my cat, leonard and his pal franky are planning to take over the world. I always catch them watching me and when i look at them they look away. I have tried to confront them, but they pretend that they dont understand english. IIN?

Is It Normal?

  • They're not planning to take over the world. They're just suspicious and on edge because they're preparing for the great battle. Nyan Cat and Tac Nayn are each separately plotting to reclaim the internet and take over the world, hadn't you heard?

  • my little she-cat Poe is trying to brainwash my family by being extremely adorable whenever she's around us. my other cat Monty does it too, and sometimes they both watch me with knowing looks.

  • Watch out for the white cats they are the masterminds of this project

  • They have no desire to rule; too much responsibility.

  • My ex's cat was very sweet but she'd position herself in the most remote place where she could see us but we couldn't see her. She was like a little furry spy.

In the end, I was just flattered by it. Cats are brilliant and if they want to look at us so much, we must have something worth looking at too.

    • This is so true! I think my cat has selective hearing, I have to do something extravagant to get her attention (calling her is pointless) I'm extremely lucky then to get a small nudge on the nose, usually she'll just look at me like I'm crazy and then walk away...I swear she loves me...

      • Aww, I miss having a furry friend. The last nine months has been the first time in my life I've been petless. I think that's why I live vicariously through other people's pet stories on IIN. Anything about cats, dogs or hamsters, and I'm all over it like a pigeon on a chip!

  • I think all we can do is remain calm and ignore their strange activities.
Thanks for the feedback and support!

I also have a cat named Opossum :)

  • Normal. Whenever my family and I sit down to watch TV together, our cat will come in and sit in the little corner behind the big screen TV and watch us. I can't help but feel like she's up to no good...
