How could you possibly "forget his dark history. Pretend that he never murdered women, and he was the way he appeared in the public-which is charming, smart and intelligent"? That is exactly who the man was. If he was all that smart, he wouldn't have been caught, so easily; he was actually pretty damn stupid.
So no, he would probably not have made a good president; he'd have been too busy molesting little girls and killing them.
He probably wasn't extremely smart, but he was doing well in college and he would've went on to become a lawyer, the governor of Washington and most likely after that, the president of the United States.
But I feel like if he was much more intelligent, he wouldn't be so cocky and he would have tried to control himself and he'd be more cautious. Most extremely intelligent people I've met don't think they are all that like he did. But still, he would've done better than Bush. And he would have a good chance of getting elected based on his good looks (like Pierre Truedeau) and his oral abilities.
Hell, I would have done better than Bush; you would have done better than Bush. For christ's sake a dead zombie would have been a better president than Geo Bush!
Be that as it may be, "But still, he would've done better than Bush", you mean in between killing little girls?.
