  • Don't get me and Gallieon mixed up but if you want to be unpleasant about it, cool.

Let's give an instance here. How do you know someone was killed and didn't die a natural death? You check the symptoms right? If someone died from a morphine shot, you'd expecting uneven blood cloting all over the corps but that only happens after the victim is dead. Doesn't mean that was the cause.

Similar to that here. He may have hyperventitlated but do you know the implications on one's blood pressure that can have if the increase is over turned? Someone passes out and as Mazlow said up there, the resulting symptom can be shallow breath from an unconscious individual. Granted there are better ways to deal with such but cpr isn't ruled out.

Understand it is not my job to go get you evidence. My only obligation here is to help the OP. If you're unsatisfied, you can do the research yourself provided you're still in the mood. What I know is based off what I've learned in the first to third year in modern human anatomy. Compare that to what ever you have under your belt aside from wiki then tell me about 'sources'.

    • "Ikr? Copy and and paste text off Wikipedia and someone thinks they got a solid argument. Really baffles me."

You say you have this info through a class - fair enough. Not that anyone can verify that, you could be making it up. Same as I could have made up what psychologists and my doctor told me to do to manage panic attacks - hence finding other sources to legitimise rather than "well MY doctor said blah de blah".

Aside from that, all other 'sources' have said absolutely zero about managing panic attacks through CPR.

The only info given by the OP is that this person had a panic attack, which the OP thinks was faked. There is no mention of loss of consciousness or breathing.
