I agree to a point. Rehab is basically a business and sham. A person will only stop drugs or booze if they want to. My ex-wife was a rabid, raging alcoholic, and even a DUI didn't make her stop. I called rehab twice for her, but knew she wouldn't go. Or, if she did, she'd only run away.
Went to families of AA meetings, myself, to learn to deal with her drinking, and, while found it somewhat helpful, largely only went to vent. Too much spirituality and acceptance going on. I was looking for answers, not religion. Did meet some nice people, though.
