You're right about rehab being a big business. It started slow and with good intentions but has morphed into a cash grab. Most of these classes and rehabs that get used by the courts are nothing but adult day cares that do nothing but cost a fortune (which you have no choice but to pay because court order). The only thing they do is teach you how expensive and annoying getting caught is, they don't do much in the way of actually treating addiction. Total bullshit. And with the ACA covering rehab, facilities have sprung up by the dozens and they are horribly ineffective but the money is there for the taking. That's one reason I am fine with the ACA repeal.
