In general, though, most men seem to think women should take the responsibility for preventing pregnancy (complaining that condoms make sex less enjoyable, for example, so the woman should be on the pill). Or even STDs. I've heard a ton of young men complain that they have to get HPV shots now, too. As if that should only be a female thing.
To be honest with you, I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for the 'it's harder for the average guy to get sex,' thing. It's harder for the average guy because women are generally choosier about who they sleep with, BECAUSE of the disadvantages I've mentioned above. And not to mention - although this is completely subjective - there are a lot more attractive women out there than there are attractive men. If you were a woman, would you let just anybody come along and stick their genitals inside you? Doesn't sound attractive, does it?

Birth control methods, like pills, are no walk in the park either. They mess with your hormones, which can cause emotional sensitivity, weight gain, decreased libido, a higher risk of blood clots, and less gains at the gym (testosterone production is inhibited by the pill).

Men can't get sex as easy as women - Not in their control to change.
Men can be made to pay for a child they did not want - Not in their control.
Men can't use means of birth control that won't effect their pleasure without operation - not in their control.
Women can fall pregnant - Choice to abort.
Pain/soreness/tearing if the penis is larger than averager - Choice to not have sex with that person.

The results of a man and a woman sleeping with multiple people is due to two completely different standards due to how the requirements for men and women differ. Like I said, women can get sex far easier than men, which means men have to work to gain frequent sex, be it charm, status, or they are wealthy. As a response, they are getting what most could not, therefor are congradulated. Women on the other hand merely have to ask for sex and they'll get it, therefor when a woman gets sex frequently, it is nothing special. One could say that this is because female sexuality is valued where as male sexuality is seen as vile, therefor when a man is able to gain female sex, he is praised because female sex is supposed to be seen as valuable, where as a woman that has sex with penises, because those darn penises are vile, she taints herself by having sex with them, the more she does it with other penises, the more she taints herself because penis bad, vagina good. Sort of mentality. That could also tie in to why lesbian sexual acts praised while gay sexual acts with men isn't.
As for the pill part. There are more methods of birth control for women than the pill. The female equivilent condom, for example.

You're missing the point about STDs. STDs worldwide affect many more women than men, and HPV is actually quite the issue. I'm not saying they don't affect men, because they do. It's just something to keep in mind.
As for men being helpless to control that they can't get sex as easy - men can always force a woman into having sex with them. They never should, obviously, but it happens all the time, and it's easier for a man to do because the majority of men have more physical strength than the majority of women. And a fairly attractive man probably has less issues with getting sex, in general.
As for pregnant women having the choice to abort, sure, SOME women do. Millions of people have religious or moral objections to that kind of thing. Families have threatened to abandon their kids if they get an abortion. There have been efforts to ban it in many states. Abortion doctors have been murdered by extremists. Abortion clinics are routinely shut down, due to lack of funding or regional objections. It is not some cheap, easy, guilt-free escape from pregnancy, alright? Try to keep that in mind.

Female condoms are no more comfortable than male condoms, and have a higher failure rate than male ones. So in general not great options. They suffice, but they're not great.

Let's look at it in terms of control.

Men can be made to pay for a child they did not want - Not in their control.
Men can't use means of birth control that won't effect their pleasure without operation - not in their control.
