is it normal to think sex should just be for procreation?

I often feel this way too, but human beings have discovered that sex can be used for more than just procreating (obviously). Humans aren't the only ones that have sex for just pleasure. There are species of whales that do too, and there's also an ape that has sex just to greet each other. Personally, I think that if you aren't ready to raise a kid, you should honestly reconsider whether you want to have sex because obviously it can lead to making babies, but since no one seems to care about that fact, then people please...use a condom.
