Is it normal to think racism is funny?
I laugh a lot, when I think about the KKK and Hitler and skinheads and stuff. I think racism is hilarious.

The saddest thing is that it is normal to find racist funny.
A racist joke is one thing though and the idea that the KKK or race hate groups are funny is entirely diferent.
My friend, there is NOTHING funny about race hate.! If you think there is then you are a mentally challenged fucking degenerate.
There are people in this world who suffer unimaginable struggles because of ignorant ill-educated hatred. Is that funny? To a complete idiot maybe!
Unfortunately though, the world is jam packed full of short sighted idiots. So yes, it probably is normal.

I think it's normal. It is funny in a dark humor kind of way, which you obviously appreciate. Hey, Adam Sandler thinks serial murder is funny "Moyda" have you heard that song off of his album "What's Your Name." It's about a cool guy in the neighborhood who helps everybody out but kills people as a hobby. Of course actual murder isn't funny and if you find killing funny because you kill people, or racism funny because you're actually perpetrating it, that of course is not funny nor is it normal.

Well, I did distinguish between appreciating race themed humour and finding race hate funny. The latter; I believe, is NOT funny and should not be treated lightly.

That's a nice concept, i'll remember to mention it to the next Pakistani chap who's face I have to stich up from the racist beating he's suffered. I'm sure he'll appreciate the sentiment.

I agree that hate crimes are to be taken seriously. Thinking it's "ok" would be retarded.
For a man who has been attacked simply for the colour of his skin, I probly would say that. Yes he's not going to find it funny and he's never going to let it go. Pride brocken and confidence destroyed. Thats why he "must" laugh it off. There is no sense dwelling on the shit in the world. If he can find any humor in the situation, any at all. Then the situation is eased. Botteling things up and/or getting depressed about shit, isn't an option. Or so I've been taught. When a person close to me died, thats when I learnt to laugh. He died of a heart attack and though I respected this man, there was a minute silence and I made the comment: "I thought his heart was to lazy to attack him?"
We laughed, but cried soon after. We continued...
I thought and still think laughter is the greatest cure. So when shit goes down, laugh it up, no matter how hard it may be.(I realise my story has nothing to do with race hate, but finding the humor in shit, goes for everything.)
BTW Thank you for the job you do. Not sure what it is, but it's seems like a job thats more than a contribution to the human race. Keep it up.

Every race has some type of habit or stereo type about them that is funny, especially when portrayed by people like dave chappelle. Im white, and will laugh at jokes about white people, just because its funny. Its funny until it turns into racism.

Yeah its funny when its not happening to you, that's the consensus among people.
