Is it normal to think of your wife as a slut

My wife has told me she had a lover for 7 yrs. She says he had the biggest dick she ever had and he fucked her the hardest. Best she's ever had she said. Then she tells me she just said it to turn me on and that it never happened. I think she did have a lover, but not anymore. Is it normal that I wish it was true ?
