Facing the prospect of ending another human's life can be pretty overwhelming. I think your mind is just trying to process this. Imagining and steeling yourself for it, in one way or another, is to be expected.
I would hope that you don't end up truly enjoying ending lives... but some walks of life do call for it. It's not easy, and countless soldiers have wrestled with that. Be strong, brave, and keep your heart safe from what may come.
