Is it normal to think of having sex without a condom?

Well she has been tested before a lot because she used to worry about that stuff. I think I should probably get tested though, even though she was my first. It's not tht she is too irresponsible to take it herself, her parents are just really really over cautious about everything an just want to make sure nothing happens
