Is it normal to think of having sex without a condom?

Hey everyone. Me and my girlfriend have always had the most protected and safe sex possible. I have always used a condon and she has always been on birth control and has always taken it properly... Lately though we have been talking and she wants to try and have sex without a condom. She said that using a condom all the time kind of ruins the point of birth control and that she has done it in the past and nothin has happened. I know for a fact that she takes BC regularly because her parents make sure she does.. Idk I know in the end it is my decision and everything but I guess I would just like a second opinion... Am I being too nervous? What you do if you were in my shoes? Btw she isn't trying to force me or anything she was just mentioning it.. Thank you for taking you time to read this and help me everyone :)

  • Make sure you're tested for STD's first and remember that the pill isn't all that reliable. My fiance was conceived while his mother was on birth control and he's a TWIN. (bit unfortunate)

All in all I wouldn't risk it unless she's on something slightly more reliable (eg won't fail if she throws up) than the pill like the injection or implant

  • Mmmm maybe you should make sure than you don't have HIV or STI before proceeding. From what I understand your girlfriend has had unprotected sex before. Both of you are surely healthy but some tests won't do you wrong and it'll make you feel safer.

    • This. Some STDs don't show symptoms in everyone, so one of you could have an STD and not know it.

The pill is about as effective a condom, so you shouldn't have too much to worry about. Obviously no method of birth control is perfect, but the pill is really good. I'd go for it.

  • I'm a girl and I get the depo provera shot. I hate using condoms, I think it ruins the mood and they get in the way. Plus sometimes he'll like take it out and ask for a blowjob and if there was a condom on it would taste like rubber and thats nasty and then he'd just need to put another one on plus condoms smell kinda weird like rubber and idk I think they're just dumb.

  • Justin bieber, a lesbian faggot, fuck him and the capitalist evils he represents, straight-edge punk and anarcho-violence are the only way to destroy community churches and use their wood as fuel to help the energy crisis while simultaneously destroying organized religion and the racist kukluxian beliefs they spread throughout the land stolen from the native Americans by European gorillas, ironically who must be stopped by guerillas in the style of great leader Che Guevara who will destroy and rape white pig families in suburbs the rich one percent devils

  • Whenever I am in relationships, I don't use condoms. I am on a method of birth control which I trust and since I am in a relationship, why use a condom? As long as you are both clean then go for it.
Some people like the feeling of having sex without a condom. For me it just ruins the moment, having to stop foreplay to put one on. So annoying.

  • Well she has been tested before a lot because she used to worry about that stuff. I think I should probably get tested though, even though she was my first. It's not tht she is too irresponsible to take it herself, her parents are just really really over cautious about everything an just want to make sure nothing happens

  • Tests, AND I am proof, well my son is, that even BC isn't flawless. I was 22-23 with my first child because BC wasn't blocking this SuperSperm lol. Seriously, you should do your math, make sure your ready for the unplanned outcome. I love my son, but having him 5 years before planned, and the hardships we went through, though we tried to be really responsible, just wasn't worth it. I'm sure you can wait just a bit longer.Get the thinnest, ribbed for her, lubed for you condoms you can find until you're sure you can handle something going wrong. And this is even more important because if obviously if parents have to step in to make sure she's properly protected then she's not even responsible enough to make that decision. If something were to go wrong EVERYTHING would be on you because she can't even handle a little responsibility on her own. Lastly, it's just not that important Until my son's mother, I've ALWAYS used condoms. From9th grade till the age off 22. All the men who

    • All the men who were all "too manly" all now, have 4-5 kids, have had stds or still do and one died from AIDS. It shows that you're more of a man when you're more responsible. Kinda like this....I had a friend who needed to wear condoms lol. had 3 kids at the age of 25, by two different women and had contracted something, can't remember....anyway, he was a heavy drinker, but every night that it was his turn to drive on a night out. He would NOT drink. at all. You may say whatever, he's not supposed to. that's true, but to know him and know that a lot of other big time alcoholics would use that excuse...it's just one beer....that was crazy. I respected that, and I used to see nothing wrong with A beer or two even if you were DD. Now I won't even drive after I crack the can.

You will be that responsible man that others would, at least the condom situation, would want to imitate. Creating a world full of responsible men and less unplanned pregnancies. And less spread of diseases
