As a teen, full of angst, hating my parents etc. he was my bf. That song brings back memories. When I went through a bad patch [due to some health problems] a good few yrs back I felt exactly the same, even though I wouldn't have stalked him. It was, and is, too accurate........
When I listened to his stuff again, all I could hear was shouting. I couldn't work out why he was so cross, or why he was shouting at his poor wife [I didn't realise “her” voice was his].
Maybe it's due to growing up; maybe his songs have a shelf-life; or maybe he just isn't that great, and never really was.
I do like 'Cinderella Man' and the comedy songs are OK but that's only a couple of songs out of loads.
Eh, he's amazing. He pushes boundaries that many wouldn't dare cross. (Eg. The columbine shootings) He legitally doesnt give a **** unlike most people who say they dont. (Btw he had plenty reason to get mad at Kim)
