Basically, that's true. I do believe everything has pros and cons. Sometimes however, the pros can outweigh the cons so much that the cons are practically non-issues.
I don't think anyone expects 100% perfection from any solution. Even my bleach only claims to kill 99.9% of germs, but that's plenty clean enough for me.
Is it normal to think no major problem in this world can be fixed?
