You just wanted to take photos? Why not become a photographer? That's what I'm aiming at. Journalism isn't what it used to be. A long time ago, the press was reputable and had dignity. Now most of modern media has lost those qualities to the drain. A fine example are gossip sites/magazines. Talking negativities and spewing lies like vomit. I wonder how many celebrities get hurt by what the media says about them, true or not. It just feeds egos. Major papers like the Guardian or New York Times are papers to try to work for. Your course sounds more stifling than helpful. It's like they're trying to change your mind and study something else. Take a writing course. Getting a blog should also be good form of practice. Write about things that concern you and be true to yourself.
Is it normal To think my major is worthless?
