More like zebras run away from large muscular animals with big sharp teeth who are sprinting towards them in an aggressive manor and it has nothing to do with being different.

Do you have any evidence of this "part of the brain"? Bet you don't.
Babies aren't afraid of people who look different although there is a myth to that effect
