I'm sure a lot of crimes are committed by teenagers who have had no guidance and who later mature enough to regret them. Maybe there should be more public humiliation with a short sharp shock!? I believe that the Isle of Man in the UK still has the birch if they deserve a good whipping or the choice of a huge fine.
Nothing we suggest would ever become law coz of do-gooders and bloody human rights campaigners, which I think are intended for dictatorships not really for civilised societies.
So here's what I'd like to suggest ;o)
Minor crimes like stealing, they could have a finger cut off each time ;o)
Maybe paedos or rapists could have it tattooed across their faces so the public would always know to avoid them. These are supposed to be the 2 categories they can't truly rehabilitate.
It's a huge dilemma but certainly for those who want to die, I'd let them go rather than keep them locked up for years and years.
Is it normal to think life in prison is wrong
