  • It's a deserving solution. If a murderer got 25 years in a federal sphincter-stretching prison, he would not come out the other side well adjusted and able to assimilate into society. I don't know if you've ever met someone who has spent a significant portion of their lives in jail, but I can tell you from the experience of meeting someone who has been in for seven years that the prison state of mind does not go away. They are always on edge and mentally prepared to get violent at any second, even when the situation does not call for it.
