If they can at least make the show entertaining while doing so, then i think its Ok. MLP:fim does this (especially in the first season), but still is humorous and entertaining,(like when Derpy and RD destroyed the town hall) and Fairly oddparents does this a little (be careful what you wish for), but,its still funny to laugh at how stupid cosmo is, or at when Crocker fails at grabbing timmys faries.
These two that you can still have a show with both a lesson and stupid humor.
but yes, I do mourn the lack of cartoons with stupid humor in general, but like anything else, it goes in cycles. (after all, compare 50s and 90s cartoons, and look at the crap of the 70s and 80s [Captain Planet, Anyone?], granted, the 80s gave us transformers, so it wasnt all bad )
