Is it normal to think facebook prevents closure

I had a thing with a girl once. Nothing came of it. I got over it, it was only two dates and some godawful flirting.

Thing is she added me on facebook and now I see her stupid face everywhere. I've taken all the measures to unsubscribe to her but she still pops up.

This was almost 3 years ago, and nothing but a kiss.

Is Facebook preventing my closure?

    Facebook isn't preventing your closure, YOU are preventing your closure by having added her and not subsequently deleting her once you have taken notice of your emotional distress.

    If it was a serious long term relationship, sure, but you ought to be able to get over two dates and a kiss rather easily. Also if you've unfriended her I don't see why she's still popping up unless you have a lot of mutual friends and she's on their pages or something.
