Is it normal to think every single human being has a sense of humor?

Serious question here. Does every single human alive have a sense of humor? I think so, and a buddy of mine I talked to said he didn't think so. I want to know what you guys think! It seems so fundamental to being a human and I have never know anyone close to having no sense of humor. So that is my OPINION, but your thoughts are still welcomed and appreciated!

Some people are just miserable people, and even if they do find something funny they're too cranky and boring to laugh

  Just because they don't laugh, does not mean they don't have a sense of humor. You can find something funny without laughing at it.

      How do you know? If they can appreciate it without showing outward signs, how would you be able to look a someone and know for sure? Also, some people find different things funnier than others. So it might seem that they have no sense of humor, when really they just have a unique sense of humor that is hard to unveil. I have seen such people.

Honestly some people are so damn serious I will hardly ever see them smile or anything. Those are usually kinda hard to be around for me. But in reality I may feel they have “no humor” but they do it’s just odd confusing shit I’ll never understand that gets them laughing. People with my humor are everywhere and I love it but some people are so serious that it’s hard to stay serious too because ik I can’t connect because of the humor difference.

It’s not easy to hang around those who don’t like to joke the same. My moms friend is this way she will never change her face but when I’m serious and rare occasions just not even doing anything she finds me hilarious and I get so confused.

Me: “Oh yeah I got a appointment in a hour”
Her: “hahahha omg you’re so funny”

Her jokes go over my head and mine do to her.

I mean same with interest noone will be the same we’re all different but I enjoy joking and making people laugh but when the humor is so complicated it’s almost hard to even talk to them. It’s hard for me to stay serious for so long. So I think everyone does but the humor will vary.

  Same thing with my dad. Some super hilarious shit and he has no idea why I am laughing, and then he laughs at totally random things. Sense of humor is a very, very individualized thing, but every has got one.

Humor is just a fundamental part of the human experience, just like happy and sad emotions. Whether or not they actually outwardly express the humor is different than someone not having humor. People can find a joke funny but not actually laugh or respond to it.

    We can thoerize that everyone has some things they find funny. Meaning everyone must have a sense of humor. However impossible test it unless you ask every single person. So its hard to prove if this is true or not.

I've had coworkers with no sense of humor at the old Target location I used to work at. Jokes would just piss them off and have them bitching behind the back of the person who made the joke.

    Politics, race, weight and age. There were employees that would joke about these things either each other and laugh while others just scowled and talked shit about them.
