Is it normal to think being asexual would suck?

Love is pretty much the most amazing thing in the world and yet there are people who can't even experience it??

CptCalicoJack, you're confusing love for lust, dude. Sex is pure animalistic instinct that humans share with all living creatures on this planet. It's just simply an primal urge, much like food, sleep and thirst. Love on the other hand, true love, is a totally spiritual thing. It's what separates the man from the beasts, because it comes from the heart and soul. And there are many kinds of love. Parental love, sibling love, self love, pet love, we all love in our own way. Even asexuals. The primal urge to find a mate is absent from them, but the love for life and others is still there. And maybe they're a little better off than we are, because we tend to confuse love with hormones more often than not.

1st off there's a big FAT difference between love and sex, I myself am Asexual, just because I don't wanna have sex doesn't mean that I don't want love, I recieve love and I give love all the time. I don't want sex cause I'm just that way, I'm proud of who I am, n' you should be careful with how you word things next time cause I was offended by your post.
    Just letting you know.

There is such thing as a romantic asexual- a person who is attracted to someone due to their personality etc but not sexually attracted to them. There is connection between love and sex but love can exist with emotional intimacy instead of sex
