Music is different! That makes you the third person to use an inadequate analogy. Are there such thing as "music hormones" that we all have that control our "music drive"???
We're trying to get you to understand how utterly absurd your view is.
It has nothing to do with hormones - it's literally someone announcing their preference, and you in the corner like, "I don't BELIEVE you." What's it to you?
Sexual attraction is not totally a preference. I sometimes would prefer I could chose not to be attracted to somebody, but I still am whether I admit it or not. I also wish I was bi instead of straight sometimes to have more fun, but I can't do much to change attraction habits.
Is it normal to think "asexuality" is totally not a thing?
