  • How do you think jesus was able to forecast the future with such accuracy if not by time travel within our dimension? You can't honestly think he was the son of gawd can you? Now that WOULD be totally ridiculous.

    • I'm not sure where Jesus fits into all this, but I'd rather believe that he got his revelations from an outside force(beyond our multiverse) rather than the hypothesis that he was Jewish Dr. Who

if that were the case all knowledge gained by him would be unreliable, since every time he'd jump through "time" he'd actually be conducting dimensional travel, though this would in a way be able to explain all his miracles if we were to see time from his point of view*, but it would still mean that he would never be able to predict with absolute certainty the events of the future, since each timeline would be slightly offset.

      * thanks to quantum physics there is a possibility, though unfathomably minute, that a giant blue whale will appear out of thin air and fall on your head.
this means there is a universe where this has happened.

If I wanted to turn the cup of water in my hand into one filled with wine, I'd simply jump to a universe where the cup of water inexplicably turned into wine.

      • Huh i think there was something like that in the hitch hikers guide to the galaxy .(the blue whale)or was it a sperm whale falling onto a planet? the other thing is what if the miracles were meant to be well symbols meaning that the reason these things were wrote down this way was to prove a point not declare he could be a miracle worker so maybe the miracles didnt happen but were means to just a point.

      • Nice comment. Almost as if JD777 went incognito. Btw, we all appreciate your kinder, more articulate style. Welcome to IIN!

      • According to everything scientists believed up until they got something to move faster than lightspeed, that couldn't happen either. Guess what? It happened.

            • Damn, just when you think physics is on solid ground, and now this. ScientificAmerican.com had a nice write up about it. Puzzling that the neutrinos from supernova 1987a arrived right on time.

Popeye said it best, "Well blow me down."
