It's pretty counter productive to worry about something like this in advance. Making some arrangements is one thing, but then you must let it go and get on with your life.
Your dad probably has lots of time left and I'm sure he's not going to spend it wasting his time worrying about dying either.
Spend as much time with him as you can, but don't neglect your own life; I'm sure he wouldn't want that.
