It is completely normal to think about mortality the trick is not to obsesse.

Have you considered studying religion or philosophy? I would recommand Stoicism as a start

It is not death that a man should fear, but he should fear never beginning to live.

You have power over your mind - not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.

Exactly! People think that if someone thinks about death that they should immediately be labled as someone who suffers from depression.

I think it's completely normal to wonder about death, because no one's ever come back to tell you what it was like.

every night, people leave their bodies without knowing it. this technique will allow you to experience the process consciously; you go to bed, relax and try to remain alert during the moment you "fall asleep". you might experience many things; sounds, sensations, intense heat, voices. if you practice this enough, you will find yourself floating off your body. enjoy the paradigm shift in your consciousness. though there is a strong possibility that you fall back into worldly distractions, like i did.

I went through that phase for MONTHS.
It's normal for every human to go through the realization (Most commonly it seems to happen from 18-21 age range).
I still sometimes get into little funks about it!
Most people it's the fear of unknown that gets to them. For me, that is the case.

Also, through my own experiences I've realized I can't get out of that phase from other people. One day you will think it through on your own, make your own judgement, form your own beliefs, and have an epiphany sort of thing. It can take years for some people.
Please, just don't let it take you into a state of hopelessness or depression as it did for me!
    Hope that helps.

It is a good question - people go through phases. You will probably move on soon and worry about something else. We all do! And death isn't necessarily negative, just unknown. Maybe that is why you are thinking about it - the lack of predictability bothers you.

Posting something about death in the first place won't help you in getting your mind off it..
