    I wonder who's gonna shave my legs and other parts if I'm comatose from such an accident, or who'll wax/bleach my moustache and tweeze my chin hairs'

    Yes, its normal and it's called predicting the worst outcome of a situation. I do it all the time and the fear holds me back from doing a lot of things i'd like to do. I hope you are more able to overcome the fear.
