Yes, I feel that this is completely normal. I am interested in other use feedback as I have thought of this myself.
But the problem is that there is way too much room for corruption in this. How are you going to stop people from having kids, sterilization? Like how the government felt Native Americans shouldn't have kids and sterlized them when they went in to deliver their children? The government having the power to decide who can and can't have kids leaves way to much room for abuse of that power. It's the one right we haven't had taken away from us.
Besides, giving government that kind of power? No way. That's insane. The government needs to stay the fuck out of our bedrooms. Government is NOT always the solution. Look at what it has already done, do you REALLY trust OUR government to pick who should and shouldn't breed? What a laugh.
It's normal that you feel this way as you are correct, some people just SHOULD NOT have kids, but it is not a feasible solution.
