Is it normal to that i think most fat people are hypocrites?

I hate how people say it's okay for fat people to love their "curves" but it's just wrong for me to love my "bones". I don't get it..
When a fat person approaches a skinny person and calls them anorexic, it's okay.
But the moment a skinny person points out that they're overweight, it's horrible and not okay. I think that if it's considered okay for a fat person to tell a skinny person to gain weight, then it should be okay for a skinny person to tell a fat person to loose weight.

I am just being happy, and eating when I please and whatever I please. If I'm too skinny, it's not my fault. I'm not going to eat as much as I can force down my throat just to make all the overweight people happy. If they can feel good eating as they please, it should be fine if I do.

Is it wrong of me to think this way?.. I'm not saying that this is how all fat people are, just a large amount of them.

Is It Normal?
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • Yes, double standards suck.

  • Really couldn't agree more. I have always been the "skinny girl" and I remebeing always being dissatisfied. Some of my larger friends when I was younger would call me "pole" and say things like "you don't have a butt, you have a back with a crack," or "your tits are flatter than an airplane runway!" till I would cry. But if anyone says anything of that nature to them, it's horrible..

  • I feel the same as you mostly. It creeps me out when a person is so fat they have chin fat rolls that seep sweat. The ones that get out of breath walking to the refrigerator. I don't even understand how they let themselves get to that point! Too many excuses and not enough accountability, food is good in -moderation-

  • THANK YOU. I'm really sorry but I hate it when fat people say things like, "More to love", "I'm proud of myself", - NO. JUST FUCK YOU.

It is not only unhealthy but a complete EYESORE.

I heard a story once, about a man sitting in a room with a smoker and an obese person. The smoker went to do that thingy in the ash tray on the table, who had received a scorn from a fourth person in the room. The fat person got none.

Why is obesity supported? THEN you have those bitches complaining about fashion. "I want more plus size cosplay/lolita." Girls, obesity is NOT (imo) normal! They will not accustom you! Don't be so fucking lazy and do yourself, along with the rest of the world a FAVOUR and GET THE FUCK HEALTHY.

I also hate how people say it's genetic. You can STILL lose weight. Yes, it will be MUCH harder for you to keep your weight leveled if you're an endomorph - your diet will have to be much more strict. Still, it's not fuckin' Mission Impossible.

There's a difference between somebody calling you, "too skinny/too fat", and CLINICALLY being "too skinny/fat".

IMO if it's unhealthy, then it's "too".

I only really care about the health/if it looks disgustingly...disgusting.

I apologize for the harsh comment, but this is what I think. It's more for the obese ones because they're too lazy to get their health act together. Typically the reaaaaaaaaaaaally skinny ones (note, I said 'typically') have some mental or self-esteem issue(s). It's fine if we can see SOME bone, but as long as they're healthy...It's pretty obvious when someone is, "too thin", though I rarely see it other than TV and online.

    • Amen brother! Or sister. Broster!

Did you know there's something as a 'fat pride'-movement?

      http://www.naafaonline.com/dev2/

God, I hate these people. If you're fat but you eat healthy food and work out regularly, then yes, you have a slow metabolism. If you only know how to run by pressing the 'x' button, then it's your own damn fault you're fat!

By the way, I think you'll enjoy this debate.

        • Not sure actually. The American guy made the documentary 'supersize me', and David Mitchell is just a British celebrity. Not sure if he starred in the Harry Potter movies

          • I haven't made a video since 2010 (which were just anime-based things that sucked because I have no skill), but I was thinking of making a video on this topic, due to me debating with a plus-sized cosplayer. Sure, I'll link ya, haha.

OP, you said you're happy with yourself. Aaaand you don't -seem- to be causing any harm to your health. Nope, not wrong at all for you to think like that :3

      • Just don't date fat people. They won't get a chance to then marry and have kids that will grow up with the same mentality on food as the parent.

Plus, if the fat person doesn't want to wind up alone, they best lose weight before they lose their life.

        • True, true. Also since we as babies are defenseless and can't think for ourselves - like pets, our food intake depends on our caretakers.

          • The most disturbing thing I've seen was on a documentary about fast food culture in America, featured a black family force feeding their baby MacDonalds.

It's all that they could afford sadly

        • It's the way you phrased it that made it so effective. You also capitalised all the right places.

I think every one of those big-headed fat people need to read something like this.

          • Ohh, I see. Wow, thank you, honestly.

Unfortunately I tried telling this to a plus sized cosplayer somewhere around YouTube - since she has a lot of fangirls and's admired for her ''bravery'' my comments were all shunned immediately.

  • To hell with them.
You have a medical condition. I'm sure your doctor has told you more than once that you will face ramifications should you not put any effort into losing weight. You having this health condition does NOT give you any right to criticize other females nor does it give you some divine authority to decide what makes a "real woman". Women like this perpetuate hatred and the destruction of others' self confidence because they are insecure and feel that they need to justify what is an unhealthy condition.

The part where they think that they are "real" women and I am a "girl" infuriates me the most. It's got to be, hands down, the most blatantly idiotic put down of one group by another that I have ever heard. I'd go into why but this would go from a two to a six paragraph post rather quickly, and I have other things to do.

  • I think its fat people's insecuries EATING at them...ha, ha, ha. :P They make fun of skinny people so that they will feel bad and will want to eat more and get on their level where they won't have to feel as bad anymore. It's a conspiracy! But only in America. :P

  • I don't see much of a difference between a fatty talking about their curves as if it makes them more of a woman and a skinny sneering at the fatties.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • Most fat people are hypocrites or just downright nasty as if they perceive that you are going to say something negative to them, so before you get the chance they put you down.

Nothing is more disgusting then flouting responsibility, whether it is responsibility for yourself, your family, your home, or your appearance.

Hey if you like the way you look then go ahead, eat that chocolate cake, the whole thing?? Well alright I guess so, just dont get upset at being called fat.

  • This is one of those posts that makes me want to sigh and say "why can't we all just get along?".

People should eat what they want to eat. If that makes them fat, that's fine. If that makes them skinny, that's fine too. So is anywhere in the middle.

I think people tend to be defensive about their appearance however they look, and take offence easily. People who are insecure naturally put down people who are different-looking to them so they can feel more secure in themselves.

The most insecure people are often the fattest ones (we can blame the media, society and a whole host of things for that), so it's logical that fat people might be more aggressive in defending their appearance. It's understandable but frustrating for me as a self-defined "too skinny" person. I don't really feel as strongly as a lot of other people in my place might do because I've had a lot of fat friends in the past and have become accustomed to being different.

Just musing, as you do :)

  • I wrote a similar post a while back. I'm thin and that's the way I am, I don't try at it, and fat people constantly refer to me as skinny and all bones and say I'm not a real woman as I don't have curves. But if I called them fat and said they could use a few stone, what do you think they would react like!!!

  • People are what they are. If they are happy with it great, and if not try to change it.

  • I have a friend who is tiny (height-wise) and even tinier (weight-wise). She got massively offended when someone said they could see her ribs. Fair play, to be honest. If someone is commenting on your appearance in a way that isn't strictly complimentary then it doesn't matter whether you're perceived as underweight or overweight.
